Experiments were conducted to simulate the defoliators damage in Kanchhi Masuli
and Masuli varieties of rice in farmers field school (FFS) of Siraha, Nepal
during rice growing season of 2002 with treatment combinations of 5 defoliation
levels (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%). The experiments were conducted in
Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 5 replications. The experiments
showed that there was no yield loss within 50% defoliation at 28 days after
transplanting in both of the varieties of rice. |
