>> Planning and Evaluation In 1991, the planning section was established as an important unit of Dean Office. Its mission is the development of IAAS capability and expansion of academic, research and extension programs, and main activities are as follows:   Maintain up to date records of natural resources, physical facilities, academic, research, and extension programs,           Prepare plans and programs for higher education and training for faculties and staff,         Coordinate in the preparation of annual programs, progress reports and institutional budget,         Update records of human resources, teaching and administrative staff and students at IAAS, and         Provide expertise in the formulation of long term plans, programs and policies. This division is continuously updating facts and figures of IAAS, developing monitoring and evaluation techniques, refined developmental plans of the departments, prepared basic pre-requisites for B.Sc.Ag. degree college establishment, and bears sole responsibility to prepare long term plans and lead the country in agriculture in the following areas:   Education, research and extension services for the promotion of commercial agriculture, and         Develop human resource to prepare and execute programs in agriculture to alleviate poverty, provide food security and uplift the economic condition of the farmers, farming community, and the nation as a whole.   Contact: admin@iaas.edu.np  P & E Administration Asso.
