Rampur Campus was developed in different Project Periods (1 976-1992)
funded by USAID and World Bank I and II includes office
buildings, auditoriums, faculty and staff housing, library, classrooms,
laboratories, girls, boys and Post Graduate hostels with a capacity of
750 students, covered hall, sports and recreation centers, cafeteria,
veterinary teaching hospital, farm machinery Workshop, dispensary,
post office, nursery and secondary school.

Laboratories:
Well equipped to
highly sop histicated are established for research and teaching. A
separate Geographical information system (GIS) lab has also been
established with moderation facilities to make teaching and research
more relevant and effective by using modern technology of information.
Also a central laboratory with modern analytical instruments suitable
for biotechnology based research of international standard is available.
Library:
Library is housed in
a modern two-storied building attracting every one to come to enhance
their knowledge. It has a total floor space of 19671sq.ft. The library
has two main sections Viz. acquisition textbooks, references, Journals
and other reading materials as per the demand of different academic
departments. Multimedia CD-ROM with interactive content, developed for
students, adopts new era's technology as E-Library.
Computer Center:
The campus has a modest computer center with
a collection of more than 25 personal computers. The computer facility
is mainly for undergraduate students training, however, faculties and
staffs also use the facility as per their needs.
Hostels:
Separate boys and
girls hostels are available within the premises of the campus. Girls
hostel has a capacity of 100 students & boys hostels accommodate 600
student.
Students’ Council:
The Campus
students have formed a students council that has set a new trend by planning
academic, entertainment and sports activities without hampering regular
classes.
Students have formed
Arts Club, health Club and Youth Red-cross Circle and IAAS Cultural
Society.
Scholarship:
For meritorious
undergraduate students 25% of the student gets scholarship of Rs. 200
per month up to maximum of 10 months.
Cafeteria:
The campus has two
cafeterias operated within premises. The o perators provide healthy and
hygienic food.
Farms:
Rampur campus has
well laid out farms for students teaching or research. Total area of
Campus is 235 ha with Agronomy (51 ha.), Horticulture (28 ha.),
Livestock and fish farms (98 ha.).
